August '11 News Roundup

We've been clocking up the air miles (and jetlag) this month, taking Kinect Sports: Season Two to both Europe and the USA for two of the biggest events in the gaming calendar.

Things got started in Cologne with Gamescom, where we showed off Tennis and Darts and met up with Martina Hingis for some virtual on-court action. There was just enough time to announce release dates for Season Two and tapdance at news of our sales figures before thumbing a lift to our next destination. 5,000 (ish) miles later we arrived in Seattle for PAX Prime, where Baseball had its time in the media spotlight and Producer Harry started using the word awesome... a lot!

Back at Rare HQ, the Web & Community cupboard was a hive of activity, as we unleashed a Kinect Sports fan page on Facebook, offered up our favourite Flickr photos and experienced a week in the life of a Rare newbie.
